The Process

Your initial consultation will take place online. During this session, we'll go over the intake paperwork you've submitted and address your primary concerns regarding your child. If you decide to proceed with testing, you'll be required to sign a consent form and choose an appointment slot for your child's in-person evaluation.

The evaluation will be conducted in your home. The ideal setting for in-home evaluations is one that provides a comfortable, familiar, and safe environment for the individual being evaluated. This setting should allow for privacy and minimize distractions to ensure that the assessment process can proceed smoothly. Additionally, the space should be well-lit and free from excessive noise or interruptions. It's important for the evaluator to have access to any necessary materials, such as assessment tools or devices, and for the individual being evaluated to have access to any familiar items or supports that may help them feel at ease during the evaluation. 

A final zoom meeting will be scheduled 5-7 business days after the in-home evaluation if no other testing is required. At this meeting, we will review the results of the evaluation and answer any questions.
